The buzz has been building, and now it’s official - Truffle Pig Winery has taken over the beloved Avensole property, and wow… what a transformation.
This spot has always been one of the most beautiful winery properties in all of Temecula, and when word got out earlier this year about the change, the whole town started counting down the days. Safe to say, the wait was worth it.

Taking over a space as iconic as Avensole is no small thing, but Truffle Pig is already making it their own - starting with Domenico’s Italian Chophouse, and let us just say: they nailed it.
As soon as you walk in, it feels like you’re somewhere special. The design is stunning… walls lined with wine, a fully visible kitchen behind glass, clean black and white stripes, green and wood accents, and a huge patio that’s perfect for soaking in the vineyard views.
A Menu That Brings the Heat (and the Truffle)
From shaved truffles to Wagyu steaks, to burgers and sandwiches done right - Domenico’s is covering all the bases. It’s the kind of spot where you can come for a fancy dinner, a wine-fueled lunch, or just to hang out with a glass of their Truffle Pig wine.

While the main winery is still under construction, Truffle Pig has opened a temporary tasting room - and it’s not just a placeholder. The space has a chic, speakeasy-lounge vibe that we’re kind of obsessed with. Plush seating, cozy details, and the perfect spot to sip and relax.
Bonus? Two adorable gold pig statues by the fireplace that add the right touch of whimsy.
Step outside, and you’re greeted with peaceful views of the property and the calming sound of the fountain. There’s patio seating too, so you can soak in the atmosphere with your glass in hand
